This is what it was like on board Global Airline’s maiden flight - a giant Airbus A380 plane travelling from Glasgow airport in Scotland, destination New York JFK.

The start-up carrier has pledged to “revolutionise” transatlantic flying, with its founder saying they will “take passengers back to the Golden Age of Travel, reinvigorating the onboard experience with elevated service" between the UK and US.
