Everything Everywhere, the parent company of Orange and T-Mobile, is set to expand its presence on the UK high street with plans to launch 30 new stores this year.
The group, which brought the two operators together last year, yesterday announced the plan to expand its existing network of 720 stores.
Tom Alexander, chief executive of the group, said it had trialled various shop formats before going for the Everything Everywhere brand as footfall was 25 per cent higher than for other formats.
The company will continue to trial other retail formats including concessions and joint Orange and T-Mobile stores.
