Search term "ayodhya verdict" refers to an ongoing process in the Indian courts to settle a centuries old land dispute between Hindus and Muslims. The final verdict was delivered on September 30, after several delays.
International golf competition the Ryder Cup and European lottery EuroMillions were also the subjects of popular search terms last week. On Friday, October 1, the jackpot for EuroMillions was estimated to be €125 million.
