ASUS unveiled their vision of a next-generation desktop computer on May 4, showing off an all-in-one multi-touch PC called the ASUS Eee Top PC ET2010.
The desktop machine has been engineered for family use and is described as an "affordable contender as a home entertainment system." The computer has a profile that is just 1" thick and can be wall-mounted in the case that you run out of room on your desk.
It has a 20" high definition plus wide-screen display with a resolution of 1200 x 600, HDMI compatibility, SRS virtual 5.1 surround sound, and is scratch- and damage-resistant.
ASUS joins a number of computer manufacturers looking to all-in-one desktop PC designs. Computer manufacturer MSI debuted their sleekly designed all-in-one Wind Top 21.5-inch multi-touch screen desktop PC back in November for $749.99 (€575).
The ASUS Eee Top PC ET2010 is priced at £619.99 (€720) and is available now.
