Dundee United have place David Hannah and Paddy Connolly on the transfer list in an escalation of their contract dispute with the Scottish First Division club, writes Alan Nixon.
The pair are taking legal action in an attempt to win their release from long-term deals, but the United board have decided to sell them first.
Hannah is available for pounds 500,000, while Connolly will cost pounds 100,000 and is being chased by Hibernian, Partick and Falkirk.
The situation at Tannadice has deteriorated to such an extent that Hannah and Connolly have been made to train at awkward times and even been substitutes for the reserves.
