Point-to-point: Exceptionnel can step up in class at Horseheath
All six meetings should go ahead this weekend, although there is a precautionary 8.00am inspection for today's Jedforest fixture in the Borders. Exceptionnel, a half-brother to Grand National second Mely Moss, did not fulfil his potential when tried under Rules, but appreciated the return to pointing with an imp-ressive win in the restricted at Larkhill last month. He looks capable of taking a step up in grade in the mens' open (1.40) at Horseheath today.
