FORESEE yesterday joined the Irish Derby field to ensure that Sheikh Mohammed is represented in Sunday's Classic at The Curragh.
The Irish colt completed a satisfactory piece of exercise for John Oxx, his trainer, to earn his place alongside the better fancied stable-companion Massyar. Foresee finished fourth in the King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot last week.
With Michael Roberts suspended, Oxx has booked John Murtagh, having his first ride in the race, for Foresee.
Conditions at The Curragh are drying out steadily and the ground is considered suitable for Khalid Abdulla's Regency, with Willie Carson aboard, to join the line-up alongside the same owner's Commander In Chief, who will be ridden by Pat Eddery.
