Racing: For the notebook: A weekly list of horses to follow:
AL SENAFI: Contributed to a series of near misses for his trainer at Glorious Goodwood when finishing third to Western Cape after a convoluted ride in Friday's big handicap. Compensation can be gained in the near future. (L Cumani)
JALORE: Won a novice hurdle at Bangor on the opening day of the new jumping season. Showed improved form on the Flat during the summer and could run up a sequence under the other code. (S Coathup)
OOH AH CANTONA: Quickened right away to land a Thirsk claimer by six lengths on Friday, after previously finishing fifth to Bluegrass Prince in a good-class race at York. Can win further races if not too highly tried. (R Whitaker)
RAPIER POINT: Finished well to take fourth place in a nursery handicap on the opening day of the Goodwood Festival after being slowly into his stride. Has some useful runs to his name and can make an impact at this grade. (P Haslam)
