Crusaders linked with Henson move

The Celtic Crusaders have begun their clear-out for next season by announcing that two of their longest-serving players will be leaving – Australians Tony Duggan and Damien Quinn, who have been with them since their first game in 2006.
The club plans to bring in a higher grade of player for next season. Among the more optimistic predictions for possible recruitment have been Gavin Henson and the Queensland winger, Chris Walker.
Carl Ablett, ever-present for Leeds this season in a variety of positions, has been rewarded with a one-year contract extension. Leeds' game at Wakefield tomorrow night will be refereed by Steve Ganson. The RFL says there was no thought of standing him down after his arrest in St Helens last Saturday night.
In the night's other game, Wigan have named Harrison Hansen to face the Catalan Dragons after clearing him of a suspected broken hand. Darrell Goulding and Lee Mossop, recalled from loans at Salford and Huddersfield, are also included. Greg Bird, back from his latest court case in Australia, is in the Catalans' squad.
