Race 'plot'

An alleged gang of white supremacists was arrested yesterday in a plot to bomb a black church and kill Rodney King, the black motorist whose beating led to riots last year, officials said, AFP reports from Los Angeles.

A source said the eight alleged gang members planned to kill Mr King, whose beating by white police officers was videotaped and led to a national outcry against police brutality.
