A prosecution witness reiterated on Saturday that Iraqi intelligence had links to five Iraqis accused of involvement in a plot to assassinate George Bush during his 1993 visit to Kuwait, Reuter reports from Kuwait City. Colonel Abdul Samad al-Shatti, a state security investigator, was testifying at the resumption of the trial of 11 Iraqis and three Kuwaitis accused of conspiring to blow up Mr Bush during his visit.
