THE first Bible computer program for the physically and visually disabled will be launched this week. The software, called Luke's Story, is available from the Bible Society. The idea came from a severely disabled young girl who wanted to help people unable to read a conventional book to study the Bible unassisted. The society says the program can be directed by speech synthesisers, Braille machines or switching systems operated by a touch from different parts of the body.
