I write to say how delighted I am with Open Eye. It doesn't alter my newspaper habit, either - I already took The Independent - and am recommending both to others with enthusiasm.

I knew, vaguely, of the OU - now I'm an escaped teacher I have taken A214 and am ploughing through A302. Marvellous material and excellent value, mind-bendingly interesting. I'm taking next year off (will return to other music courses in 2000) and Open Eye will keep me in touch.

It's grand to realise that my brains can be re-vitalised by using it - and that early retirement can liberate my future!
