An article on independent.co.uk earlier this week reported that Steve Coogan had spoken out against the presenters of Top Gear in relation to their ‘offensive’ on-screen behaviour.

We would like to clarify that Coogan’s comments preceded the recent row about Jeremy Clarkson’s apparent use of the n-word. Our article has been taken down from the site and we regret the confusion.
