The Independent on Sunday article “So much migration puts Europe's dykes in danger of bursting” on 18 August asserted that in the year 2000 only about 0.1 per cent of EU citizens lived and worked in another EU country.

In fact, this figure relates to the percentage of EU citizens who moved in that year from one EU country to another.
