“RowShare was built by former Microsoft engineers with decades of experience, so from the get-go, we knew that the product was good,” recalls founder Antoine Driard. “When we launched, we had to face the harsh reality – even if the product is perfect, it won’t sell by itself. I remember telling my shareholder, ‘If we want to reach the entire world, we will need ads at the Super Bowl.’ So, we pivoted and gradually positioned RowShare as a trusted solution among niche markets. It was a learning curve, but the lessons were invaluable.”
Over its seven years of operations, RowShare has offered customizable solutions and prompt support to its clients. Among the many French customers that RowShare impacted is Les Associés, a national network of independent wealth management firms and brokers boasting over 100 members. Co-Managing Partner Caroline Brument reflects:
“Our initial challenge was the complexity of compensation protocols between insurers, brokers, and advisors. Each insurer has its own way of calculating commissions, over commissions, commission reversals, etc. As a result, many players only discover their remuneration when the insurers pay them. Initially, we processed commissions in an Excel spreadsheet. We had to redo calculations manually, and the results weren’t always reliable. [RowShare] was the only affordable solution that could meet our expectations. To be honest, at first, we doubted RowShare could deliver on time and within such a reasonable budget.
