VSEL offer declared unconditional

GEC said its offer for VSEL had gone unconditional. By yesterday, GEC had acceptances for 76 per cent of VSEL shares. At an EGM of VSEL earlier this week the special resolution amending the VSEL articles of association to enable the offer to be implemented was duly passed, and this has received the approval of the Secretary of State for defence.
