Westminster Outlook Earlier this month, Lib Dem activists voted down their leadership’s attempt to make supporting airport expansion party policy.

What this tells us is that should the LibDems get another shot at government, any plans to boost the economy through new runways at Heathrow or Gatwick will not be opposed by Nick Clegg’s negotiation team as part of their coalition agreement.
