In an article 'Left earning the money and holding the baby' (25 February), a number of interviews were compressed into narrative form, and presented as potted autobiographies by the journalist. It has been represented to us that this created a misleading and inaccurate impression in that it could only be based on selective quotes. We apologise for any distress caused.
