She has been writing and editing travel content for over 12 years, starting out at Wallpaper City Guides, covering design-led digs for the world’s most discerning travellers and later travel, food and wine (she holds a respectable WSET Level 3 Award in Wines) for publications including The Telegraph, House & Garden, Noble Rot and more. Emilee loves exploring off-piste destinations just as much as a diving into a luxury thread count bed and is just as at home exploring Cuba by bus or sleeping under canvas in Europe as she is testing out the world’s best hotel beds. Originally from Devon, beaches are never far from Emilee’s mind either, and, since having her daughter she’s become a passionate advocate for the term ‘family-friendly’; her well-travelled mini-me has come along on adventures from Thailand to Totness.
