Hit record producer Mark Ronson has scored his third week in a row at the top of the singles chart with "Uptown Funk", along with a new record for the amount of times the track has been streamed.
"Uptown Funk", Ronson's collaboration with Bruno Mars, has racked up a combined chart sales figure of over 156,000 in the last seven days and has been streamed nearly 2.56 million times.
With "Wish You Were Mine" by 21-year-old Nottingham-based DJ Philip George going straight in at number two, the top five is completed with "Thinking Out Loud" at number three, Ben Haenow's song "Something I Need" at number four followed by Taylor Swift's "Blank Space".
There is just one further new entry in the top 40 and rapper Kanye West says that he has his late mother Donda to thank for it.
His single "Only One", which features Paul McCartney, is at number 35. It was written from the perspective of Kanye's mother who he says was “singing to me, and through me to my daughter”.
The biggest-selling single of last year, Pharrell's "Happy" re-enters at 34, trailed by John Legend's "All Of Me" at number 36 and Lilly Wood & Robin Schulz's "Prayer In C" at 39.
